My 2019 Travel Bucket List

I think if you know me personally, you’d know that I’m a tad obsessed with travelling. I’ve been fortunate enough to go to the beautiful city of Rome and I’ve very recently been to Disneyland Paris. If you’ve been a long time reader of my blog, you would know that I only got my first passport August 2018. For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to travel and I’m very lucky to be able to travel now. I thought it would be perfect to put together a 2019 travel bucket list that I can look on when I need inspiration and places to visit.

In summer, I published my 2018 travel bucket list for being 19 so if you’d like to read that and see if I’ve ticked any of, here’s the link:

Obviously I’m not going to be able to visit every country/city I am going to mention but what is a bucket list for ay?

Berlin- Germany

One place that keeps cropping up in my travel bucket list is Berlin, Germany. I remember being in high school and instead of doing work, a true rebel, I would have a search of Berlin. There is so much history behind Berlin which I’d love to learn more about. I’d love to visit all of it’s museums and take a tour around the beautiful country. I’d preferable love to stay in Berlin for 72 hours which I feel would be a perfect amount of time to explore the city.

Bath- United Kingdom

Bath has been a place I’ve wanted to visit for years. Whenever I look at photo’s, I always imagine it to be in a different country, it seems to beautiful to be in the UK, don’t get me wrong there are some lovely places in the UK, if you’d like me to write a full post on my favourite spots of the UK, let me know in the comments! There are definitely so many must see places in Bath; these include: The Roman baths and the Bath Abbey. I’m really hoping I can tick this beautiful city of my bucket list in 2019!

Cologne- Germany

This is a place I’ve only just discovered and it immediately hit the top of my bucket list. I’ve wanted to go to Germany for as long as I can remember and this is an additional city I want to visit! The one thing that really drew me to this city was the cathedral, it looks beautiful and I love cities that aren’t as well known because there is always so many different things to discover!

Faro- Portugal

If I was to chose one place to definitely go to this year is Faro in Portugal. This is a town that isn’t very known but it is beautiful. There are so many hidden gems in Faro that I really want to discover. I’d definitely love to go round the rest of Portugal as it looks so different and unique to any of the place’s I’ve previously visited. If I was to visit Faro, I would definitely visit the rest of the cities in Faro such as Porto and Lisbon.

Paris- France

If your not following me on Instagram, you may not know that I’ve not long got back from Disneyland Paris and I’d love to visit the capital! As I was driving through, we got to see a slight view of the Eiffel tower but I’d definitely love to see it in all it’s glory! I’ve been planning a trip in a few months time which entails Paris so I hope that happens!

Tokyo- Japan

If you know me personally, you would know that going to Toyko has been an absolute dream for me since I was like 10. The culture and the language has always fascinated me but I knew I’d never be able to find the cash! I’ve been saving for a while so I hope I’ll be able to visit Tokyo some time next year once I’ve finished university! I have been researching into volunteering in Tokyo which would be so beneficial.

Brussels- Belgium

For a while now I’ve really wanted to travel to Brussels as I’ve heard their is so much things to do and see! I’d definitely love to go there around Christmas time in 2019 because it was something I wanted to do in 2018 but unfortunately I didn’t get round to going so it would be lovely to do it this year!

Dublin- Ireland

Even though Dublin isn’t that far from the UK, it has always been a place I’ve wanted to visit and it’s definitely so inexpensive! Dublin is definitely somewhere I want to visit for my birthday so it would be lovely to be able to go!

And that’s it (well certainly not it), that’s my travel bucket list for 2019! I really hope you enjoyed, let me know in the comments what places you want to visit this year because I’d love to know!

  1. You will love Germany! Berlin is beautiful, 72 hours isn’t long enough in my opinion, but you will get a lot done in that time! I’ve never been to cologne but I lived in Germany for 6 years and we are going back to Frankfurt for a visit at the end of March! Can’t wait. Also Paris city centre is great!
