Travelling Europe: 48 hours in Disneyland, part 2

The last instalment of my 48 hours in Disneyland. Yesterday I uploaded part 1 of our trip to Disneyland so if you wan’t to check that out first, click here. Thank you for all the love on yesterday’s post and I’m so glad you all enjoyed reading as much as I loved writing! I’m just going to get straight into it!

The second day was our last day in Disneyland which I can admit, I cried quite a lot about but I wanted to make the most out of our last day and try and see as many characters as we possibly could. When we woke up, we got ready and then we headed through Disney Village once again and headed to Walt Disney Studios. For this day, I tried dressing like Marie from Aristocats and I loved the outfit! I didn’t really know what to expect from Walt Disney studios because I knew it wouldn’t be as magical as Disneyland but I actually really enjoyed walking round and seeing where some of the Disney films were made.

When we first got into Walt Disney studio’s, we went into one of the shops and I finally decided to purchase the Stitch teddy that I’ve wanted to pick up the whole of the trip so far, it was definitely over priced but it was so worth it!

We then walked through the studio’s and had a look through all the shops such as Pandora and the Disney store. There were so many bits I could have brought but I had to refrain myself from purchasing everything!

We then took a walk around the park to see what they had around. The one thing I love about Disney is the fact you feel like your actually in the movies especially with the amount of detail they put into the rides and the productions! When we were walking around, we saw so many different characters and it was so lovely to see everything.

Obviously you can’t go in Walt Disney studios without taking photo’s outside the Hollywood sign. I do have to admit that we were taking photos for around 10 minutes as I always need photos to be perfect ahaha.

We weren’t in Walt Disney studios for long because we didn’t want to go on any of the rides and there wasn’t much else that we wanted to look at, we did go back later in the day to watch the Star wars show which I loved.

We went back into Disneyland and took photos outside the castle once again, I feel like all we did when we were in Disney was take photos outside of the Disney castle but you just have to right? Once we got into the park the Princess and Pirate’s parade had just started so we sat by the castle and watched that and it was really lovely to see all of the Princess’s.

As we were walking through the park, we saw Jasmine and Aladdin which I was super excited about because I love the film! One thing I didn’t realise when we were waiting for characters was how long we would have to wait to see every character, I think we waited for around half an hour to meet Jasmine and Aladdin but it was definitely worth the wait!

We were really lucky because before seeing Aladdin and Jasmine, we saw Repunzel but we couldn’t queue to see her but thankfully when we’d seen them she was there again and we could finally meet her. I was very surprised when I saw her around the park because I thought she’d be in the Princess Pavilion but I’m super happy to have been able to see her.

This day was such a good day for meeting characters and we were so lucky with the characters we were able to meet! I really wanted to get a lovely photo of the castle and the sun was finally out for the first time on our trip so we went to get some photos which I’m super happy with!

As I’ve previously said, we wen’t back to Disney studio’s to watch the the star wars show which I was very excited about. I have a massive love for Kylo Ren from the new Star Wars films so I was very excited to see him in the show! I did really want to see the Stitch show while we were there but unfortunately it wasn’t on till later on so we decided not to.

For the final time we went back into the Disney park and I got excited when I saw these Winnie balloons so of course I had to take some photo’s next to them but I definitely wasn’t going to pay 10 euro for one.

While we were in the park previously, we saw Alice and the mad hatter 2 times but we weren’t able to line up and see them but third time lucky and we finally got to see them which was really nice. I’ve always loved the Alice in Wonderland films so it was really nice to meet Alice.

We then made our way towards Main street and we saw Tiger and Eeyore which I was super excited about as we’d seen Winnie the Pooh the previous day and it would have been nice to see the whole clan. Something I loved about meeting these characters was Tiger jumped and hugged me and Eeyore was really sad and it was really nice to actually think you were actually meeting the characters.

The final and the best character we met in Disney was Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. As the castle in the park was hers, it felt only right to meet her. There was a 90 minute wait which wasn’t fun but it was definitely worth it! It was so lovely to meet her and have a conversation with her. She noticed the ring on my hand and I thought I was going to cry.

By the time we’d got out of meeting Aurora, it was time for the Parade. We were contemplating watching it as we wanted the first time watching it to be magical but we couldn’t not and I finally got some photos.

Unfortunately we had to leave Disney and I have to admit I got very emotional and I can confirm I’ve had the worst holiday depression ever. I really hope I get to go there again because it was so magical and beautiful!

I really hope you enjoyed reading about my trip to Disney!

  1. I love your outfit! Very Aristocats 😊 It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Walt Disney studios but all your pictures have reminded me of how much fun I had! I’m happy you enjoyed yourself, sound like you had an amazing time. Great post x

  2. Love the photos in this post – your outfit is absolutely adorable! We went to Disney when I was 15 and the post-holiday blues were REAL so I feel your pain. x

  3. It’s a shame you didn’t do any of the rides in Studios Park as Crush’s Coaster is one of my favourite rides at DLP! You’re so lucky that Rapunzel was out and about in the park, that’s really rare, she was in pavillion when we went and we waited almost 2 hours to see her so half an hour for Jasmine and Aladdin isn’t bad really! Tigger and Eeyore are also quite a rare meet so you did so well and I’d love to go for Pirates and Princesses season!
