Testing Botanics Skincare*

Skincare is something we love on this blog so I jumped at the opportunity to test some new skincare. Botanics has been a brand I’ve wanted to test for a while and I’ve been getting on with a lot of their products! Before we start, I just want to let you know that some of the products mentioned in this post were kindly gifted to me by the lovely Botanics team and I was truly spoilt with everything they gave me. Since receiving this package, I did pop into Boots to go and pick up some more skincare bits so this is a combination of gifted and purchased.

As some of the products were gifted, I will include a * by the products. Everything I say in this post will be my own opinion and I have not been told to to say anything. Just wanted to be as clear as possible. If you are new here, please don’t forget to follow me so you don’t miss out on any of my other uploads!

Also, a little FYI, when I was on the Boots website a couple days ago I noticed that they have 3 for 2 on all Botanics products so if you want to pick up any of the items mentioned in this post, I’d do it now!

  1. Botanics Hydration Burst 3 in 1 Micellar Cleanser £5.99*

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I can’t lie, I have been loving this cleanser. It works soooo well at removing all of my makeup and it also leaves my skin feeling super hydrated. You really don’t need to use a lot of product because a small amount goes a long way. I’ve found that this works best with a cotton pad. The cleanser is also infused with soothing extract which really helps with dry skin and soothing the skin! I use this both morning and night and I’ve definitely noticed positive things about my skin since using it!

2. Botanics All Bright Gentle Cleansing Cream £5.49*

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I’ve been using this cleanser everyday after using the micellar cleanser and it leaves my skin feeling so smooth. It is really gentle upon this skin and it helps to get rid of any additional makeup that the cleanser didn’t get rid of. This cleansing cream is also great at removing dead skin cells which leaves the skin feeling smoother and healthy. I also use this with a cotton pad.

3. Botanics Peaceful Night Pillow Mist in Lavender & Sweet Marjoram £6*

Rating: 4 out of 5.

This isn’t necessarily a skincare product bit was one of the products they sent over. I’ve been really intrigued to try one of these pillow mists and I can say that this pillow mist smells gorgeous and it actually helps me sleep and I’ve noticed I sleep a lot better when I have this mist on my pillow so If you’ve considered purchasing one before, I’d highly recommend.

4. Botanics Hydration Burst Day Lotion SPF15 £8.99*

Rating: 4 out of 5.

This is a really good lotion if you suffer from dehydrated and sensitive skin. I tend to use this in the mornings and it keeps my skin feeling really hydrated throughout the day. It also makes a good moisturizer before you add any makeup to your skin. The nourishing formula is meant to comfort and sooth dehydrated sensitive skin. It is also estimated to keep the skin hydrated for up to 8 hours.

5. Botanics Hydration Burst Hydrating Day Cream £8.99*

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I am in love with this moisturizer! It’s definitely one of my favorite moisturizers to date and a little bit goes a very long way. If you are going to purchase anything from this post I’d 100% recommend this moisturizer, it’s so good! It’s very hydrating and is perfect for sensitive skin like mine is!

6. Botanics All Bright Hydrating Night Cream £6.99

Rating: 5 out of 5.

This was one of the products I purchased myself because I loved the Day cream I really wanted to see how to Night cream performs. I’ve got to say I’ve been really enjoying it. I’ve been using a mix of both the moisturizers and I can definitely tell that my skin is moisturized throughout the night.

And that concludes my review on Botanics products! Have you tried any? Are there any products you’d recommend?
