An Updated Autumn Skincare Routine // A Skincare Regime for Combination Skin

Ever since I started my Blog a year a go, I have wrote a Skincare routine every season and to be honest I’m not mad about it. One of my favorite posts that I create for this blog are Skincare related and they always go down so well so I thought I would show you my updated Autumn Skincare Routine. If you haven’t seen any of my other skincare routine’s, I have combination skin so my regime is very focused on that.

Before we start, a little FYI, some of the products that are mentioned in this post were kindly gifted to me by brands, I will place a * whenever the product was gifted.

Face Wash

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser £6.50

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The face wash I’ve been using recently is the Body Soap Foaming Cleanser. I’ve been using this face wash religiously morning and night to help clear up my skin. Whenever we head into a new season, my skin always tends to play up but using this face wash has really helped. I’ve been using this alongside my Magnitone Cleansing Brush* which is a god send for my skin. The only bad thing I have to say about this face wash is that it’s not very suitable for dry skin as this tends to dry out my skin quite a lot.

Micellar Water

Botanics 3 in 1 Micellar Cleanser*

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I’m not going to talk to much about this product as I’m going to be writing a blog post testing Botanics Skincare so that should be up within the next couple of weeks. I’ve been loving this micellar water and its so good at getting rid of my makeup. Along with these products, I have been using Welve reusable cleansing pads* which I’ve been really enjoying. They may seen over priced but they are definitely worth it in the long run. When you have used them all, you simply put them in the washing machine in the bag they came with and then they can be re-used again and again.

Botanics All Bright Gentle Cleansing Cream*

Rating: 5 out of 5.

This is the cleanser I’ve been using religiously since I got it. It leaves my skin feeling so smooth and it is perfect for sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin, I’d highly recommend this cleanser as it is really light on the skin. I usually use it with my reusable cleansing pads and they work really well together at removing any left over makeup.

Simple Kind to Skin Soothing Facial Toner, £3

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I feel like I have been using this toner since I turned 13, it’s definitely a holy grail product. I also feel like everyone and their mom has used this toner, if not, you 100% need to! I just use this toner with my reusable cleansing pads and I will use this both morning and night just to prep my skin for makeup and it really helps to sooth my skin!

Botanics Hydration Burst Day Cream, £8.99

Rating: 5 out of 5.

When I say I am obsessed with this moisturizer, I mean it, I don’t think I will ever use a different moisturiser again. This works so well on my skin and my skin has never felt to hydrated since using this product. If you are on the look out for a new moisturiser, I would 100% recommend this one, especially if you have dry/combination skin like myself! Even though this is a Day cream, I do tend to use this both day and night and this works really well, however, Botanics does have a Night cream available.
